Our yarn is spun by partner mills in the Tirupur-Palladam belt — one of India's established wind-power corridors. Wind energy is the mainstay power source for many spinning units in this region, not as a marketing choice, but because it's more reliable and cost-effective than grid electricity locally.

That means the recycled yarn behind our fabrics is spun using clean, wind-generated electricity — lowering the carbon footprint of every meter we supply, before the fabric even leaves the mill.

At ASG Trading Company, every fabric we supply is built on two simple ideas: give existing materials a second life, and use the cleanest, most efficient power available to do it.

● Lower carbon footprint — wind-powered spinning reduces the energy-related emissions embedded in every batch of yarn.

● Genuine circularity — two real waste streams (pre-consumer fabric offcuts and post-consumer PET bottles) recovered and put back to use.

● GRS-certified — independently verified recycled content, not a self-declared claim.

● Lower cost, not higher — proof that sustainable sourcing and competitive pricing aren't mutually exclusive.

Our recycled cotton-polyester blends combine two distinct circular material streams:

● Recycled Cotton — made from shredded, pre-consumer dyed fabric waste, giving offcuts and surplus material a second life instead of the landfill or incinerator.

● Recycled Polyester (rPET) — sourced from post-consumer PET bottles, diverting plastic waste back into the textile supply chain.

The result is a GRS-certified (Global Recycled Standard) cotton-polyester blend that performs like a standard blend — but costs less than regular cotton-polyester fabric, not more. Sustainability, done right, shouldn't come with a premium price tag.
